NSW schools offer special religious education (SRE) and special education in ethics (SEE). Approved providers deliver these, where available. The SRE provider for The Crescent School is the Southern Tablelands Christian Education Committee. If at any time you wish to withdraw your child from special religious education, sometimes known as scripture please provide a written request to the school office or indicate on your child’s enrolment form when completing the enrolment process at The Crescent School.
Students not attending SRE are provided with supervised 'alternative meaningful activities'. These activities do not compete with SRE/SEE and are not lessons in the curriculum. Suitable activities may include reading, private study, completing homework or other activities as considered to be appropriate by the school community.
