Welcome to The Crescent School, a supportive and inclusive school for specific purposes dedicated to providing high-quality, individualised education for every student. Our school is a place where students with diverse learning needs are nurtured, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Our fantastic and hard-working P&C also plays an essential role, providing support that enables students to enjoy a variety of enriching experiences across the year.

They bring expertise, creativity, and compassion t their practice each day, ensuring that classrooms are safe, engaging, and responsive to individual needs. Our School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs)

At The Crescent School, our SLSOs play a vital role in supporting students throughout the day. They assist with personal care, emotional regulation, and classroom routines, utilising Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), visual supports, and structured systems to help every student engage in learning. Working alongside teachers, they promote independence, smooth transitions, and a sense of belonging. With their calm and caring approach, SLSOs help create a safe, inclusive environment where all students can learn and thrive.
